#22 Belonging

I feel that i really belong in my church youth group. I get along with most of the people, and we are all really open with the people that attend on a regular basis.
We have a great group of leaders and spend lots of aor free time with eachother. It is almost like haveing a second family sometimes.It feels that i can talk about anything to them and i can trust them to keep itm in the group.

#19 Pay it forward...the movie

I thought the movie was very good. It was a very good idea for a movie. I have seen it about 5 times now and the ending still makes me sad.
To me, it seems realistic. If some one wanted to change the world with an idea like that, then if every one really wanted to change then it could work. But it will only work if every one tries hard.

#18 The Blue And White Overnight

For the Blue and White Overnight i think that keeping eveery body is key. If people are really board or not having fun, then they won't want to come back.
From what i heard in class, the hide and seek in the darkl was a huge hit. Also, the fact that people could throw pies in teacher faces. There could also be a food eating contest. Anyways that is just a thought.
From what i have heard, it was a really big sucess and i hope it is again this year.

IDCI is...

Well, IDCI is a place to me thaty is a safe learning enviroment. It its also a place to come and meet new people, have lots of fun and go to alot of cool places. I am really glad that i can attend because it is just such a great place to be.

Wow!! I could never do anything like that. She must feel very proud for the acomplishment that she did. giving up half of everything is awsome but i think it would be very hard for me to do.

Mandela wears the uniform of his oppressor and unites a nation

It took alot of guts for Mandela to do that. He would have been hatted by not only the whites but the blacks aswell. I don't know if i would be able to do something like that. If i was in jail for as long as he was, then i would do almost anything i takes to sty out of jail. Hats of to this man, i think that he is a very good leader.

it was twenty years ago today... the poem that inspired mandela.

It is a very nioce poem. I can see why it would inspire nelson mandela. I talks about how you are the master of your own fate. it says that you are captian of your soul and if i was in jail and afraid for my life like mandela was, i would find this very insperational to just keep going on.

I totaly agree with the guy in the clip. we take so much for grantite. We believe that every thing should be simotanious and perfect all the time and after watching that clip i have been more carefull on what i think of technology.

The great maple leaf handprint flag thing

The group that i was in worked very well together. Every one contributed equally and there were no conflicts. There were lots of original ideas that helped to make it look good, and get it done in time. There were defiantly leaders and followers and i happened to be in the middle.
